All roads lead to Croke Park this Sunday as the Tipperary Senior Camogie team take on Kilkenny in the Glen Dimplex All-Ireland quarter-final. The game throws in at 1.30pm and will be followed by the All-Ireland Senior Hurling clash between Tipperary and Kilkenny @ 4pm.
Great excitement is building across the county, with both our senior teams in action on the biggest stage. After a disappointing start to the championship, when Tipperary suffered a heavy defeat to Cork, they bounced back impressively with victories over Wexford, Limerick, and Clare to secure second place in the group.
Grace O’Brien has led the scoring charts for Tipperary with an impressive return of 4 goals and 30 points. Karen Kennedy has been inspirational in midfield, posing a constant attacking threat while also providing crucial support to the defence.
Tipperary have now settled into a balanced team with a strong mix of experience and youth, and they carry real momentum into Sunday’s encounter after three wins on the trot. However, they know nothing will come easy against a formidable Kilkenny side, who finished third in a very competitive Group 2 behind Galway and Waterford.
Throw-in is at 1.30pm, and we’re calling on all Tipperary supporters to get to Croke Park early to roar on the team.

The game will also be broadcast live on RTÉ and Tipp FM Radio.
