It is with great sadness that we share the passing of a cherished member of our camogie community, Jim Symons.

Jim passed away peacefully at Tipperary University Hospital following a short illness. A true gentleman both on and off the pitch, Jim made an immense contribution to camogie in Tipperary. He served with dedication and integrity in various roles on the Tipperary County Board, including Treasurer and PRO and was also a dedicated referee for nearly 25 years, officiating hundreds of camogie matches during that time.

Jim’s passion, kindness, and tireless work will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of working with him.

We extend our deepest sympathies to his beloved wife Sinéad, his daughters Áine and Siobhán, and his son James.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

Rest in Peace, Jim.
