The Tipperary Camogie Medal Presentation took place on Saturday evening in the stunning Cahir House Hotel, celebrating a hugely successful 2024 for the county. The Tipperary Senior Camogie Team received their National League medals, while the Minor Team was honoured with their Munster and All-Ireland medals. The Tipperary Junior Team also enjoyed their moment in the spotlight, collecting their Munster Intermediate and All-Ireland Junior medals. It was a fantastic occasion, with an impressive display of silverware on show.
A huge crowd gathered for the event, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The evening was expertly hosted by Gary Toohey of Clubber TV, who kept proceedings running smoothly. Each of the victorious managers—Denis Kelly, Bill Mullaney, and John Ryan—spoke powerfully, reflecting on their teams’ achievements. The special guest of honour for the night was Clonmel’s own Daire Lynch, and Olympic bronze medallist. The champion rower shared insights into his journey to success, discussing his training regime and experiences at the highest level. Daire had the honour of presenting medals to all the players, making it an unforgettable moment for the teams.
As the formalities concluded, Tipperary Camogie Chairperson Gráinne O’Leary expressed her gratitude to everyone in attendance. She extended a special thanks to all the players and management, acknowledged the support of the Cahir House Hotel, and made a special presentation to the three winning managers in recognition of their dedication.
Following a delicious meal, the celebrations continued late into the night with fantastic music from James Doran, Seanie Mockler, and friends. It was a fitting end to a night filled with pride, camaraderie, and well-deserved celebrations for Tipperary Camogie.
