This Sunday April 30th, the County Camogie Grounds in the Ragg will host a double header of league finals with the Junior A final throwing in at 11am and the first ever Junior B2N final at 1pm. 

In the Junior A final Kiladangan will be hoping to hold onto the league trophy they won last year. In last weekend’s semi final they recorded a 2-10 to 1-10 victory over St Rita’s Fethard. Their opponent on Sunday is Holycross Ballycahill who were in flying form in their semi-final defeating Brian Borus 4-07 to 1-08.

After a few years of a very successful Junior B2 competition, 2023 saw another new league grade devised -Junior B2N. The N standing for new teams. The grade was for new or recently formed new adult teams. Sunday’s final sees Rockwell Rovers take on Ballybacon Grange @ 1pm. It is the first year that Rockwell Rovers have entered an adult team into the league while for Ballybacon Grange it is their third year entering an adult team. While the first 2 years was a struggle for numbers this year they boast a panel of 31 players.
