There was a great buzz in a Sportsmans Dream in Nenagh on Saturday morning for the launch of the official 2023 Tipperary Camogie jersey. In 2023 Gaelic Armour became the official kit supplier of Tipperary Camogie. Gaelic Armour is a GAA Sportswear brand that develops, designs and manufactures in Nenagh Co. Tipperary. While a Sportsmans Dream also located in Nenagh is the official stockist of the Tipperary Camogie jersey and training gear. It’s a unique partnership to have the jersey manufactured locally in Nenagh and also sold in the popular sports store a Sportsmans Dream.  A Sportsmans Dream have a long tradition of supporting Tipperary camogie and are delighted to be the official stockist in 2023. Owner Deirdre Hughes needs no introduction to Tipperary camogie as the only Tiperary player to make the Team of the Century in 2004. A holder of 5 All-Ireland medals she made the full-forward spot her own for Toomevara and Tipperary and will be forever remembered as a prolific scorer and while also being an all-round team player. On Saturday morning lots of young camogie players dropped into the shop to meet some of the stars of the Tipperary senior and junior camogie teams who are busy preparing for the upcoming Munster championship. Present were joint senior captains Karen Kennedy (Thurles Sarsfields) and Clodagh Quirke (Clonoulty Rossmore), Grace O’Brien (Nenagh Eire Og) and Laura Shinners (Kilruane Macdonagh’s)  along with Junior captain Claire Stakelum (Holycross Ballycahill) and centre back on the junior team Lisa Cahill (Kilruane MacDonagh’s).

The young players and parents present were delighted to chat to the Tipp players, get photographs taken and jerseys and hurleys signed. The beautifully designed and made Gaelic Armour jersey was also flying off the rails as lots of excited customers were delighted to finally get their hands on it. It was a special day for 3 year old Molly who was buying her first ever hurley in the store and got her picture taken with the Tipperary players. While Maeve from Kilurane was delighted to pose with her fellow club members Laura Shinners and Lisa Cahill.
